[zeromq-dev] PR process

Hi All,
Not sure if this is the best place to ask.
I Just wanted to ask about the PR process/ feedback on my PR.

I implemented this https://github.com/zeromq/libzmq/pull/4802 a few months
back, and for my use case it has been working pretty well, (currently in
production, under fairly heavy load & we have not had any issues.)

I know that the pace of changes with zmq has slowed down, but does this
change seem like something that aligns with zmq and should get merged in?
