ack, i’ve tested it both ways. figured i’d float the overloading idea since it’s a bit more concise, but could lead to confusion.
i’ll re-factor as an actor call (with the extra headers involved with server_connect, etc) and see how it looks (a bit more gsl hacking todo-). i don’t have a strong opinion either way, wva makes it easier to adopt.
as i was flipping through the various ways endpoints are used in _bind|_connect and i don’t think there’s an RFC for that(?). not that their needs to be, but the way PH has apparently brainwashed me over the years, was surprised there wasn’t. :)
