[zeromq-dev] Thinking about port to AS/400, iSeries, et al

One of our development platforms is the IBM iSeries machines, which used to
be (and really still is) called the AS/400. I'm considering a side-project
at work to maybe port 0MQ to the IBM. What compiler/C++ standards would I
need to follow? We are running on OS version V7R1 which has the C++
compiler following the C98 standards, I believe. I've always had great
difficulty making any "configure" scripts work on that platform.
Just wanting to know what I was up against.
