[zeromq-dev] Performance and scalability of pub-sub security

Hello:

I'm in the early stage of evaluating ZMQ for implementing a pub-sub broker
that can handle hundreds of thousands of concurrent clients. It was
relatively straight-forward implementing a simple broker in Node.js with
ZMQ pub-sub.

Next, I am looking for examples of using ZMQ pub-sub that is both secure
and scalable. Are there examples of using ZMQ pub-sub in this way?
Preferably in products that have clients coming over untrusted environments?

There are attempts at using TLS with ZMQ, but not sure if that's well
proven solution. Also, PSAE seems to be in draft stage.

Any help is appreciated.
