[zeromq-dev] zdir loads whole heirarchy?

The zdir constructor loads the *whole* directory hierarchy into memory. Am I reading that right?
So I don't appear to be able to (efficiently) do a simple directory listing using zdir, to list, for example, the contents of "/"?
