[zeromq-dev] Message delivery contract

Probably a newbie question but here it goes:

Does 0MQ guarantee that a message gets sent at most once between a single
sender and receiver?  So, I get that messages can be dropped but does the
0MQ library ensure that messages will not arrive twice under any
circumstance (such as reconnects)?

Maybe I missed it but I couldn't find it in the zguide.
