Hi, 

Patch for this problem is available. See for example " Assertion failure in mailbox.cpp (Jon Gjengset)" from May 27 or " Re: Assertion failed: ok (mailbox.cpp:84) " from March 21.

Could someone, please please please,  commit the changes from the patch to the source repository. I can provide any support required but I have no previous experience with git.
