Hey everyone,

My company (Secure Decisions - www.secdec.com<http://www.secdec.com>) is looking for a C++ developer who knows ZeroMQ and it was suggested that I send out an email on this mailing list. If this is the wrong venue, I apologize in advance.

Basically, we're looking for someone who has cross platform Windows/Linux C++ experience and who is familiar with ZeroMQ in both of these platforms. The job is in Northport, NY - on Long Island and its full time position w/ benefits. P.S. I am not a head hunter, recruiter, or anything like that; I'm one of the developers here at SecDec; been here for over 15 years.

Anyhow, here are some of the specifics:

You need to be a U.S. Citizen - [sorry about this one, but my company does work for the gov't, so it's a requirement]
Experience in cross-platform (Windows / Linux) C++ development
Knowledge of ZeroMQ - [kind of obvious for this message board, I know...]
Preferably >= 5 years of professional software development experience - [but if you know what you're doing...]
Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with .NET/C# a nice to have - [but not really important]

So here's the gist of what we're looking to do: We need someone to take the technical lead in building an enterprise level custom communication service based on ZeroMQ. The service will have to support communication between and among various clusters of devices within an enterprise (so think fully connected meshes, or cliques, of related devices and then a partially connected mesh of all those cliques). Items such as automated dissemination of configuration information, resiliency, and message routing are important topics here and any experience in those areas is of particular interest.

Not sure if any of you would be interested, but it's worth noting that we're willing to sponsor whomever we hire for a security clearance.

That's about it... if you're interested, please send me an email at michaelr at avi.com<mailto:michaelr at avi.com>. Feel free to send a resume or if you just have some questions, that's cool too.

Thanks in advance,
Michael Rosenstein
