Ok, I tried that but I still get the same behaviour. Nothing received on
the Python side even if I do:

socket.setsockopt(zmq.SUBSCRIBE, "topic")

Changing the C program to this python version and everything works:

import zmq
import time

context = zmq.Context()
socket = context.socket(zmq.PUB)
socket.bind("ipc:///tmp/pub.ipc")

while True:
    time.sleep(1)
    socket.send("hello 1 2")

Anyone have more ideas?

Thanks,
David
