[zeromq-dev] Mountain Lion build issues: strndup error, and 'make check' gave "1 of 20 tests failed" on test_shutdown_stress

Hi,

strndup is AFAIK GNU extension and not in the string.h header, a quick
search in the github repo of libzmq doesn't show any declaration of
'#define _GNU_SOURCE'.

Might this be the issue?
