message queues are often used to implement IPC communications.
I think this issue is also realted to ZeroMQ in principle.

Linux is monolithic and bloated but easy to debug since everything is in
kernel space.
GNU/Hurd is difficult to debug because everything is IPC.( Refer to
http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/open_issues/bash.html )

I came to a conclusion that monolithic applications suck and modular
applications suck, too.

How do we devise an approach that doesn't suck?
