[zeromq-dev] DEALER detection of no ROUTER

I have a simple test app where a dealer connects to a router. If the router
is not reachable, is there any way for the dealer to detect this?

I know that I could use a hadnshaking or ping/pong approach, but I'm
looking for a cleaner solution, one that is build into ZeroMQ.
