[zeromq-dev] Assert when debugging, but not when executing

I tried following the flow of the code inside pgm_socket.cpp but the way 
it is written, gdb gets all jumpy in Netbeans (not just going straight, 
but jumping ahead and backwards many times).
My guess is because many conditionals are split among many lines.
Anyway I'd really like somebody more expert to chime in about this 
problem which is really beyond my knowledge.
