[zeromq-dev] pyzmq on gentoo gives ImportError, undefined symbol: zmq_sendmsg

Installing pyzmq on gentoo gives an error.

Any idea what went wrong?

Python 2.7.3 (default, Aug 20 2012, 16:06:31)
