Perhaps I am mistaken but: blocking posix operations must return EINTER
on interruption. Otherwise clean termination on Ctrl-C and thread cancellation are
impossible.

If you automatically handle them .. you defeat their purpose.

It kind of sucks .. but that's how Posix works.
