I'm building zeromq-3.1.0 on Mac OS X (10.7.2). `make check` reports:
test_shutdown_stress running...
Too many open files (tcp_listener.cpp:213)
/bin/sh: line 1: 9977 Abort trap: 6 ${dir}$tst
FAIL: test_shutdown_stress
But subsequent runs reported different errors:
test_shutdown_stress running...
Too many open files (signaler.cpp:366)
/bin/sh: line 1: 10241 Abort trap: 6 ${dir}$tst
FAIL: test_shutdown_stress
test_shutdown_stress running...
Assertion failed: s != retired_fd (tcp_connecter.cpp:278)
/bin/sh: line 1: 11030 Abort trap: 6 ${dir}$tst
FAIL: test_shutdown_stress
Is this a known issue?
Cheers,
Mike Craig
