Johnny, thanks for taking the time to reply, much appreciated. It has
been a while since I have seen such an organized reply on a mailing
list. And it seems that in general on this mailing list people follow
certain rules. I like it. Something that is definitly lacking in the
.Net mailing list world.

I have modified the code according your suggestions, it works great
and disposes of sockets/contexts properly. I had forgotten that
NHibernate actual has the loggers as static fields accessed by
multiple threads, I had only thought of the logger being instantiated
on a different thread.
