[zeromq-dev] License clarification

Hello,

I am currently involved in the process of adding license information
for 0MQ in the Buildroot project; we are having some difficulty in
understanding the 0MQ license terms. In general, the license appears
to be LGPLv3+, with iMatix linking exceptions.

However, in the COPYING.LESSER file, it is stated that "Parts of the
software are licensed under the MIT (X11) license". I can find no
evidence of any such parts; do such parts still exist? If not, then
can the MIT/X11 section of the COPYING.LESSER file be regarded as
obsolete?
