PUB/SUB does not guarantee delivery. This is extremely basic. Before writing your logging server, please look at the documentation.


Pay attention to the socket behavior when the queue hits it high water mark (HWM). There can be a HWM on both the publisher and the subscriber which further complicates matters. For an explanation of how HWM works, read the FAQ.
