To be honest, I think the issue is purely perception and maturity. In other
projects big hairy changes can be done, discarded, and done again in the
development trunk without effecting what's actually coming out. I think
Pieter's point about not pushing people towards the github is a major part
of this, and it may also be something as simple as having a separate mailing
list for ZeroMQ experimental stuff, and another for actual users hitting
problems with released zeromq.
