[zeromq-dev] Java binding configure fails

Just did a git clone, autogen works, but configure ends like this:

checking how to hardcode library paths into programs... immediate
./configure: line 15186: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
./configure: line 15186: `    PKG_CHECK_MODULES('

Any advice?
