I'm developing against Azure at the moment. For now just hosting
workers that use a custom TCP protocol, but will try zmq version of
the same soon enough. From my thus far anecdotal experience it looks
like ingress and egress throughput from/to the internet is heavily
throttled, or highly contended. I'll be doing some largish (several
100k core/hour) runs soon from which I can gain some statistically
relevant data - but that'll only be on "small" instances. Will share
if there is anything interesting.
