I've been following the node.js transition to Windows. Their implementation
is getting support directly from Microsoft engineers. Redmond is apparently
interested in Azure and Windows support. Libuv, their network abstraction
layer, is pretty nice IMO; here's a video of the author implementing a
simple web server with it:

How do you feel about this library?
