I wasn't aiming at anything useful to absolutely compare with this is a
relative comparison between the compilers, hence forcing the smallest
message size rather than targeting highest bandwidth.
The scheduler is different from desktop and server editions of Windows, and
this is pretty much out-of-the-box Windows with the firewall enabled. I
would expect on a real network with an Intel NIC things would look
significantly better, and of course normally messages would be a bit bigger.
