Attached is the patch. I have included a change to clock.cpp in case one day
we want to use the clock of the System z processor to do TSC-like things. I
forgot to use commit ­s so in lieu of that I¹ll confirm the following:

By making a contribution to this project, I certify that:

right to submit it under the open source license indicated in the file; or

(b) The contribution is based upon previous work that, to the best of my
knowledge, is covered under an appropriate open source license and I have
