[zeromq-dev] anyone try to use 0mq for BSP

Michael,

I'm curious to know why you'd be interested in using ZMQ instead of MPI for BSP.  MPI often has hardware support for collective operations, whereas with ZMQ you'd have to work out some sort of sync/barrier protocol on top of TCP.
