Absolutely agree with these sentiments, and also point to the recent post by
Brian Granger.

Go ahead and break the API, fix perceived design problems, but please do
have at least some minor discussion around big changes. If only so that
Pieter can keep the Guide coherent - this document was my preliminary
attraction to ZMQ. At the end of the day users will vote for 3.x with their
feet.
