[zeromq-dev] Moving to 0MQ/3.0, yes or no?

FWIW at this point in time I'm inclined to agree.

Plus the things that people indicated they did not want removing for 3.0 
should be fixed.
ie (PAIR sockets behaviour, device - need to decide if the sockets types 
should actually be checked for supported compatibilitym etc etc)

There are some issues with the way idenitites are used , especially with 
xrep sockets but it doesnt seem like that can be removed anytime soon.
