Mikko,

Commits pulled downstream to 2.1 and 2.2, but there were a number of
merge conflicts (I'm not sure how this happens since they're not files
otherwise modified in those branches).

Anyhow, could you check that the results are correct, at
https://github.com/zeromq/zeromq2-1 and
https://github.com/zeromq/zeromq2-2.
