Yeah, that's really why I am not afraid... yet. As Martin said, in the
long term this is not a tenable position. But it seems to me that for
now the users of our Java binding are not too many, and are more
amenable to putting up with these breaks.
What do you think of my "Frankenstein" proposal to make poll() behave
simultaneously as per the legacy and also as recently proposed?
