[zeromq-dev] Debian packaging

Heyho!

After playiong around with zeromq a bit, I've had some hopes of actually
using zeromq in one or two projects besides creating the packaging, but with
changing jobs and other stuff coming up I don't see me doing much work in
this direction.

I can continue publishing the Debian packages, but I won't really be able to
help in maintenance beyond just forwarding bug reports and hoping they're
not Debian specific. In other words, I'd be happy if a Debian user would
step forward to continue package maintenance. If you're not a Debian
Maintainer or Debian Developer, I can act as sponsor (some mentoring,
uploading the packages.)

I guess it would be great if the packages would start using the git
repository directly (I've not done this because I'm not really familiar with
git and because I have a mercurial based packaging workflow that works -- if
you're starting with packaging stuff, it's probably easier to start creating
a git based workflow that works with the zeromq git repoitory instead of
adopting my workflow.)

cheers
