Thanks. The patch also erased several lines from Context.cpp and
Context.java (since the poll() functionality was moved to Poller.cpp and
Poller.java), but these lines seem to remain in the current versions. Is
this intentional, or should I submit a new patch to remove them?

Great. The only bad citizen here seems to be the MSVC project file. It
is an XML file that is generated by MSVC 2008 with tabs; is there a way
to tell emacs to leave the tabs in this particular file?
