In the meantime I've commited two fixes concerning comparing size_t and 
socklen_t.

As for the build issue, isn't having two libraries with the same name a 
bug in cygwin? I mean, wouldn't it be worth reporting the problem 
upstream while we temporarily hack the solution in 0MQ?
