Martin,

I don't understand this as well. In either case, I guess the dev
build instructions for OS X are:

$ cd pkg-config-0.23
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/pkg-config-0.23
$ make
$ sudo make install

* Then add /usr/local/pkg-config-0.23 to $PATH

Finally:

cp /usr/local/pkg-config-0.23/share/aclocal/pkg.m4 /usr/share/aclocal

Then the usual...

$ cd zeromq2
$ ./autogen.sh
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/zeromq2
$ make

Minimally, we should document this somewhere. Am I correctly that
this won't affect non-dev builds?

Cheers,

Brian
