I would be careful here. What we are discussing here is purely a way to 
overcome specific limitation of TCP (limited number of ports, habit of 
blocking ports on corporate firewalls). It has no relevance to other 
transports (inproc, ipc, pgm) or to 0MQ's messaging model as such.

As for "endpoints=resources" idea it sounds interesting, but it's 
definitely distinct from the above.
