Only for functions.  For code, those extra lines annoy the heck out of me. :-)

Of course it's just pattern matching, i.e. any consistent style will
eventually work as people learn it.  We developed this style for
iMatix C code years ago, and I'd rather stick to it, it makes it
easier to reimport chunks of existing code that prove useful for
services.
