It's appropriate that a distributed decentralized technology with no
single point of failure have a distributed, decentralized ownership
with no single point of failure.

It means that we (anyone) can take any part of 0MQ, mix that into new
code, release the whole as LGPL, and then bring that back into the
"official ecosystem".  In fact that's impossible today.
