[zeromq-dev] DDS and ZeroMQ

Hi all,
It looks like the DDS standard is starting to gain momentum in many places,
particularly in the military. It further seems that 0MQ would be a nice base
for DDS. I think this because 0mq has a nice clean networking core, and also
handles PGM nicely, which no DDS venders handle at all. Has anyone ever
looked into this?

Some background: DDS is an OMG standard, and has been heavily adopted within
the DoD for various programs. It has also been successfully used in several
real-time control situations. I strongly suspect that the DDS standard will
be adopted by the power industry in the next few years, for some or all
communications as well.
