Aamir,
Yes. It's quite easy actually. The problem is mostly with the plentitude
of platforms rather than with complexity of the test.
When we are testing specific platform what we do is:
1. run basic performance test (latency, throughput)
2. run individual examples (chat, exchange, butterfly)
3. run perf tests for language extensions available on the platform (C,
Java, Python in the case of Linux)
Actually, we have no PowerPC systems in our lab. Thus, even if you don't
want to mess with Java and Python (we'll test that on non-ppc Linuxes
anyway) pts. 1 & 2 will still be useful.
In case you are interested in QA, I'll let you know when the trunk code
is stabilised and ready for testing. Thanks in advance!
As for the telnet problem you've reported, I've created a ticket for it
(ZMQ-225). The problem looks pretty straightforward and will be fixed
shortly.
