No, and I think it had nothing to do with 0MQ in the first place.

Instead, our sending application sometimes restarted at the start of a
session, leaving the receiver hanging dry. And as it restarted instead
of just crashing, starting a new receiver would give an appearance as if
everything was OK everywhere except in the original receiver :(

Now, I couldn't actually verify if the restart caused the hangs, because
it could only be observed if you happened to get the timing exactly
right. However, after we fixed the restarting issue, we have not seen
any hangs, and forcing the sender to restart causes the same behavior I
reported in my original email.
