We haven't run 10GbE on the same hardware yet so it's hard to compare. 
However, it seems that the latency is comparable with IB (few 
microseconds of difference).

Above applies to standard TCP/IP stack. With MX-Open/SDP stack on top of 
10GbE we've seen latency as low as 13.4 us. InfiniBand may catch up via 
RDMA, however, RDMA has different API so testing it requires changes to 
0MQ codebase.
