Hello,
We have made first testing of 0MQ on ARM platform. For tests we have used
AT91SAM9263-EK rev.B board equipped with AT91SAM9263 device with
64MB of SDRAM (more info at
http://www.atmel.com/dyn/products/tools_card.asp?tool_id=4057).
We have used Debian Lenny distribution with patched 2.6.24 kernel and 100Mb
switched ethernet connection.
For tests 1000000 of 1B messages were used. Peer machine was AMD Athlon 64
X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ with Debian 4.0.
While ARM was acting as a receiver it was able to receive 265763 [msg/s].
ARM as a sender was able to send 113241 [msg/s].
We would like to know if there is an interest in such a combination 0MQ and
ARM, if so please let us know and more tests can be done for coming 0MQ 0.4
version.
